What Is Uproot?

Each round asks whether the real answer is higher or lower than the number on the card. Correct streaks give bonus movement, wrong guesses pull players down, and a shared skip request can discard a question without touching anyone's score.

How Uproot Works

  1. Create a Beanbag room and choose Uproot.
  2. The host sets the winning score before the game starts.
  3. Everyone votes Higher or Lower on the central question. Skip only requests a new question.
  4. When all active players lock in, the answer card flips and scores update.
  5. Players with the same score share one bubble on the vine leaderboard.
  6. When someone reaches the target score, the camera pans down the vine and reveals final stats.

Why It Works for Parties

Fast guessing

Every round has a clear Higher or Lower decision.

Streak tension

Two correct guesses set up a +2 bonus on the third, so streaks matter.

Live vine leaderboard

Player avatars climb together in grouped bubbles inside a parallax world.

Uproot FAQ

How many people can play Uproot?

Uproot supports 2 to 12 players.

Is Uproot a trivia game?

It uses factual prompts, but players only need to decide higher or lower rather than know the exact answer.

What happens when players skip?

If a strict majority requests skip, the question is discarded and no scores or streaks change. Until then, players still have to guess.
